“You must go
into the land of discovery to discover what you were once too stubborn to see.”
After
a couple of longer posts published over the last week, I thought a little
viewing of numbers with fewer words may not be a bad move for this
mid-week. At the end of the day, as a
guy who enjoys studying the somewhat entertaining female behaviour in the
sexual market, alongside my day to day requirement to work with numbers and
spreadsheets, the amalgamation seemed like nothing more than brushing my teeth
or rolling up socks.
I
have simply documented a list of women I have been involved with over the last
7 years. Like most guys recollecting
their relationship history, some of these women barely reached the month stage,
whilst others let me in and out more times than Casanova’s pork sword. But the primary purpose behind this little
playing of stats was to ascertain how I, in retrospect, view each woman in both
physical attractiveness and overall girlfriend material entirety. The age of each woman as documented is
related to the age she was when I first met her. This applies to the year I met
them too.
All
this is on the back of a spreadsheet I devised during a mundane hour to form a
little chuckle inside. Copy and paste
facility onto blog pages is never the most compatible via this kind of
software. If some of you are that keen
to see the full version, I will e-mail over on kind request. For front page
viewing, here is the snap-shot layout of how the respective age determines how
women, in general terms, view male physical attractiveness.

The
long and the short of it
- Women under the age of 24 are far more likely to be “content”, or even happy, in dating a man who is as or more physically attractive than her.
- Even if still feeling insecure of the circumstance, women under 24 will place far more emphasis on a man’s physical looks, sometimes to the point where it is the top priority.
- Women over the age of 23 take on the polar opposite role. Although male physical attractiveness will gain their attention the most, they are actually more likely to stay away from men who catch the public eye more than they do.
- With consideration to all the above, a woman’s self-rated physical attractiveness grade has only a certain bearing on her choice between going for hot men or turning in the opposing direction. As can be illustrated above in the Looks rating and Looks position, some of the under 24 women at the top were not as physically attractive as, in my opinion, some of the more aesthetically impressive women above the age of 23.
- A woman’s age is by far a greater factor in concern to whether she will date a man who turns heads. This can be shown on the spreadsheet. When the filter is placed on an age ascending order as shown above (smallest to largest / youngest to eldest), the green names who shot to the top – women who were willing to date me long term – just so happened to mainly be the youngest too. If it is filtered in descending age order (largest to smallest / eldest to youngest), the red names – the older women who were not too receptive to me over a more sustained period (despite prior interest) – consequently made up most of the top list.
Now
I could be accused of manipulating all this to suit what I subscribe on this
blog. I wouldn’t even attempt to convince
anybody one way or the other. All I will
say is that I started off this analysis as girlfriend grading only. As an aftermath, I related their forthcoming
or adversarial emotions in alignment with their age.
But
if you have been wondering once or twice in your life why two similar looking
women with differing ages have received your advances differently, it may not
be a total coincidence that one of them was fresh, hungry and at the age of 23
or younger, whilst the other was a touch self-conscious of her age and in
excess of her 24th birthday.
Q-tip
With a small percentage of
women, irrespective to their physical beauty level, they actually become more
prone to engage and possibly date men - who are on their looks level or above –
the older they become. This may come
across as a contradiction to what I claim, but it has to be put in true
perspective.
- First, this change of mentality is with a very small proportion of women, and the remainder continues with the preference to be with lesser looking men.
- Second, as women get older (35+), they do marginally take emotional risks that little bit more, and they perhaps fear rejection that little bit less. Their prides are not so fragile if it all goes horribly wrong.
- Third, past the age of 30, women encounter a much speedier decline of their physical allure in comparison to men. With this in mind, many of them will reach an age sooner rather than later where they are no longer better looking than men who they once never gave a second look to. Simply put, they are no longer surrounded by hoards of uglier men than their respective younger selves.
